Willa Ford is an American actress, singer and product endorser born on January 22, 1981 in Ruskin, Florida. She started to fulfill her dream of becoming a performer at the age of 8 at the Tampa Bay Children’s Choir. She then moved on the Entertainment Revue, a Tampa-based performing arts troupe when she turned 11.

She soon made her break into the music industry after signing up with MCA. She then wrote and recorded the song “Lullaby,” which was later on included in the soundtrack of the animated film Pokemon: The First Movie. She then joined the Backstreet Boys and became the opening act for their tours, where she met and became romantically involved with Nick Carter.

Soon after, Willa Ford moved to Lava Atlantic Records where she released her debut album Willa Was Here. Her first single “I Wanna Be Bad” was a smash hit, and her album sold 200,000 copies. Her following singles, such as “Did Ya’ Understand That,” failed to meet the same success. In 2003, she soon returned with a club hit single, “A Toast to Men.”

Aside from singing, Willa Ford also wrote songs and collaborated with other singers, particularly with Korean singer Park Ji Yoon, with whom she co-wrote and sang a duet on the song “Nastified.”

Willa Ford also appeared on television, first as a host for the reality fight show The Ultimate Fighter, followed by joining the reality dance competition Dancing With the Stars. She was also featured in an episode of My Celebrity Home and MTV Cribs, where she gave a tour of her home.

Aside from television, Willa Ford also ventured into the world of film, first in the biopic Anna Nicole, followed by the thriller Impulse, and the classic cult horror flick Friday the 13th.

Willa Ford is married to American hockey player Mike Modano.
